You know, Personal Demons was originally going to be a stand alone. And then it was going to be the middle book in a coherent trilogy. Then it was going to be the first in a duology, with a prequel to explain the stuff leading up to it. Currently I'm looking at what is probably going to be a triology, with a prequel, a spinoff that might stretch to two books (but I haven't planned far enough to decide yet), and a collection of short stories about both the major and minor characters spanning from the dawn of time to a few decades in the future.
