I'm creator and the president of first LGBT club in my city. Do I call this a political success since no mogais there? My fear? Mogais turning up and calling me aphobe thus a homophobe lkadjslfkdf

what i would say is this: for now it is definitely a political success. you should run the club however YOU want, if you have total control over it. that way, no mogais show up. and if they do, they’ll notice that this place isn’t for them (because you won’t be talking about them).

like if a mogai shows up, and you keep talking about lgbt issues, and they ask, “but what about [obscure identity / aces]”, you can just say “that’s not lgbt”, and move on. 

and my advice? don’t discourse. just hold your stance and if people leave, they leave. you’ll have a lot of exclusionist lgbt people / allies maybe over time.
