You’re making me want to watch Buffy. I barely even knew the show existed, barely watch tv, and now everytime it pops up on my dash, I have a half second of primal need to watch it. Would you recommend?

Yes! The funny thing is I never watched it as a kid. There might have been reruns but Buffy was like a whisper on the wind, something I knew existed but didnt know much about. I'm on my second rewatch now but the first time I watched was in my mid-twenties (netflix? its on hulu now) and I love it. Its so interesting how it evolves through the seasons. The first season is very 90s, very pun-y very ironically aware of itself. And then each seasons just gets darker, and darker, and darker (and this is me we’re talking about so of course I love it). IMO its very bingeable. Everyone has they're tastes though so I'd recommend sticking with it for atleast...five episodes? You'll know if you like it then. My favorite character doesnt even show up till the second season but its still all worth watching.

(1/?) So, the other daddy-wincest idea was too similar so I have a (slightly) different one for you. Not entirely fleshed our but kinda cute, in a fucked up way. I can see both John and Sam developing a bit of a complex around Dean. He’s there, filling every role from brother to son to caretaker to confidant, and pretty much everything in between. So it’s not a huge leap of logic for either of them to start looking at him as a potential lover. Enter Sam’s teenage years.

(2/?) John and Sam start fighting more and more. Dean, either intentionally misinterpreting or genuinely not understanding due to self-loathing, doesn’t get most of the fights are about him and the other two competing for him. Sam leaving for Stanford was the culmination of a last, major fight between John and Sam, and Dean couldn’t ignore it anymore. He also couldn’t choose between either, resulting in his hunting alone until he goes to get Sam.

(3/3) There’s some tension when the three men reunite again, but either ultimately Dean chooses Sam, or John takes the decision out of his hands with his deal for Dean’s life.

I 100% agree that Dean would be thick enough to not realize john and sam are always fighting about him and i kind of headcanon that now actually.

Also can you IMAGINE the angst when John dies and its like well now dean doesn’t have to choose? the guilt dean would feel? the self loathing? unable to be with sam because he’s still torn up over his father? and the unrelenting anger sam would feel about john unintentionally making dean his forever by his self sacrifice? UGH. that would be so delicious im living for it ❤️❤️❤️

So, Sam is an omega prince(ss) (I keep switching between genderbent and not) who gets kidnapped by a more powerful, rival kingdom, who plans to use them as leverage. While trapped, they befriend an alpha slave, Dean, who keeps them sane and alive (sharing meals, taking punishments, just being there). When their kingdom manages to save them, they refuse to leave without him. John goes to free Dean to repay him (1/?)

However, between Sam and the newly freed Dean, no one can get him to leave, so he “works” for Sam. More he works for himself, and it just happens to benefit Sam, or a lot of sex. A LOT of sex. Now, bouncing between two endings for this. Ending A (cliche ending), Dean ends up originally not being a slave. He’s the son of a former ally, king Robert, and the two kingdoms ally again against Unoriginal Rival Kingdom. (2/3) 

Ending B. Dean continues to serve Sam through their rule, until it’s time for a new King, maybe their son Jack. Because of that, he chooses to “ascend” with Sam. It’s the highest honor of the land to “ascend” with a monarch. He burns alive with her, with the idea that he’ll continue to be with her in the afterlife. Side note, but Dean is naked or nearly naked 90% of the time in this version. (3/3)

So I’m finally getting around to reading A Little Life, and it’s already killing me in the best and worst way. Jude makes me so sad and I know nothing about him! (Also I’m sincerely hoping it was you who mentioned this book, cuz if not... whoops)

It was! 

Jude is just...the saddest thing. The novel starts out like its about four friends but really its all about how many tiny pieces Jude can break your heart into. God. It’s so good though. Definitely one of those books I just sit and think about sometimes, even years later.
