I had the pleasure of making a gift for @hyrulescarlet!

I started traditional, with watercolor and colored pencils, and then I edited the image and added Spirit and Satori digitally!

This was a super fun process! (don't focus on the blossoms too much LOL)

i guess this isn't LU but in my head the Fierce Deity and the Lord of the Mountain are husbands, they represent the violence and peace of nature and how the two balance each other out and they're very in love, your honour! Wed those Gods!

Hear me out, Wild (Linked Universe) meets Grover (Percy Jackson) or someone else, idk.

I have seen like zero fics Abt this but I want someone from the Percy Jackson series that knew Pan or heard of Pan to meet Wild/aka the Hero of the Wild and/or Satori (the lord of the mountains and/or the wild)

Because honestly Grover meeting what is essentially Pan and the hero of said domain would be really fun to read-

What inspired the thought about Fierce deity and the lord of the mountains?

Do you have an idea of when/where they met?

i kinda connected the colour palettes of the both in my head and then started like actually thinking about it, i think in nature that violence is necessary for peace, like if there were no predators then there's too much prey and they eat all of the food which would eventually end in the prey population decreasing as there's nothing to keep them alive either. Predators hunting their prey is a necessary part of maintaining the ecosystem, i actually found a good article kinda talking about how predation is important if you're interested. And i think the two characters feel like opposites to me, how Satori mountain is peaceful with the wildlife and everything, i like going there because it's a cute calming spot to chill in, his presence causes the stal-monsters to temporarily disappear from the mountain but despite his calming presence in BotW he's still seen as like bad luck by the stable owners and won't let Link register him. But on the other hand with the Fierce Deity, he's a warrior, he weilds a huge sword and uses it to cut down the literal moon, Link is only able to use him during battles. He's extremely powerful and should probably be feared and is by Tatl at least. If i remember correctly he's described as demonic but despite that his power is ultimately how Link ended up being able to save Termina. Kishin provides the violence necessary for Satori to keep his land peaceful

and i think they met as very young deities, pre Fierce Deity being sealed in the mask. I don't think they were enemies, rather i think they got along quite well but what they were never able to agree on was how to go about maintaining peace. Kishin understood that violence was necessary but would often get overexcited and go too far while Satori abhored violence, unintentionally allowing the deterioration of his environment. They met in wherever the Gods and Goddesses reside, cultivating their own powers at the same time, adjacent to one another. Eventually they would learn to work together, using Kishins strength and Satoris care to create a careful balance in nature, allowing predators and prey to exist and do their things and keep the land alive and healthy.
