I’ve been working on my website. Check it out if you haven’t already. Making the unseen manifest through activity was and still is a big lesson for me. Oh, to be a lizard on the rocks again! This was from the last walk @theplanthropologist and I took before the lockdown began. This lizard wasn’t shy of the camera. It reminded me of meditation - so still. Calm. And necessary. I have started meditating more regularly and now this lizard and I have something in common. During this lockdown, a lot of the suppressed in us can emerge. With little distraction from the self, aspects of the self that we run from are highlighted. This has been my experience. A whole smack (yes, that’s the collective noun) if these little jellyfish washed up on the shore at Blaauwberg. They are such simple creatures yet they are so beautiful. I’ve been in heavy contact with my spirit guide. I have one - he takes the form of an old, wise man. He is a Shaman and he provides me with lessons within my meditations from time to time.
