Lt. orders all cars washed inside & out notwithstanding there is only one "dry" pump in town! Impossible to obey order!
Lt tells us it is "defendu" to read in bed & orders all blankets rolled every morning.’

Saturday July 20 1918 -- We are near Soissons to do evacuation work and stationed in Pierrefonds. We have good quarters and as a neighbor a magnificent medieval chateau. We are to evacuate from here to Crepy the nearest railroad some 30 kilos distant. It was in this same town that a month before the Boches had dropped 300 bombs in one night!

#SaturdayWorkday: Today’s work office was at the River Street Beat Shop in Troy,NY. 3 years ago was the last time I sold art outside the music shop and it was awesome to return here to sell my concert photography, nature photography, & photo note cards. And I passed out samples of the “Eastwick Press” to potential readers & subscribers. The exhibit was a success!! Thank you so much to Jimmy & Liam at the River Street Beat Shop for having me sell my work and for everything you did to help make this a success. Thank you to my friends, family, relatives, and new followers for taking the time to come show your support for me and purchase some art & music!! Special thank you to my friends, Nick and Kristine, for staying until the end to assist Mom and I in putting my work into the car and for hanging out with us post-show!!
