#HappyMemorialDay: Happy Memorial Day everyone!! Thank you to all soldiers, both living and deceased, for serving and protecting the USA!! Thank you for your service!! Today’s Memorial Day was spent covering a prayer & gun salut for fallen vets at the Pleasant Valley & Mountain View Cemetery in Petersburgh,NY, a Memorial Day parade, memorial prayer and flag raising ceremony, and a second gun salute held in Berlin,NY. Parade participants and guests were treated to free hot dogs at the American Legion Post #937 and could purchase a BBQ chicken dinner to take home. Later on, I spent some quality time with my best friend, Amanda by going to the cemeteries to pay respects to her grandparents in Troy and Schuleryville, went food shopping and out to eat for lunch. Thankful to spend some quality time with my best friend before she & her husband move to S. Carolina in a few weeks…!! Thank you Amanda for a great afternoon and for letting me remember your family members with you on Memorial Day. Thank you Veterans for your service.
