I hate how the rp community acts like you’re an asshole for saying you have a favorite rper, or shaming people for posting their follower count, and mostly how they treat people who are proud of their writing. They act like you’re being an egotistical asshole if you are confident. That’s wrong. In real life, if you constantly act like you aren’t good enough, it’s annoying. Having some pride is a good thing. I resent this whole “I can’t praise myself that’s wrong” mentality. If you are good at something, you have every right to be proud of it. If it makes you uncomfortable to see someone call themself a good writer or roleplayer, or call someone else one.. You have issues. You won’t be able to get through life with that mentality. No one in the real world (and off of tumblr) is gonna pander to you.
