Rahul Gandhi will be the Congress's prime ministerial candidate in the General Election of 2014. The Congress's senior leader, Satyavrat Chaturvedi, says he can openly declare this now. Chaturvedi says the fact that Rahul has no government experience is no bar to him occupying the top post. The Congress leader was speaking to NewsX, in our evening show - NewsX at 9. Chaturvedi's assertion comes close on the heels of Rahul announcing that he will be taking up a larger role in the party and/or government soon.
