1. Billy Hargrove + Jack Twist

This could either be really cute or either really disastrous as Jack is my super sweet theatre-loving cinnamon roll who I can definitely see trying to befriend Billy in his own Baby(TM) way but how well that works out........................is up to the future. Dun dun duuuuun.

2. Billy Hargrove + Rachel Gardner

Do he want to be an older bro figure to a girl who’s emotions are like 95% shut off? And now that I type that I really want to see that happen. I can just see him trying to get a reaction out of her and Ray just being :T and it’ll be great comedic stuff.

3. Billy Hargrove + Warren Graham

Jock + The Nerd, oh what could go wrong? No but imagine what I said with Jack okay but add pop culture references and goofy antics and thats Warren. But this could go wrong too as Warren is a little bit in-your-face and has a tendency for getting himself punched out. Tbh I can see this being very frenemy like or just full on enemy. WHO KNOWS?

4. Billy Hargrove + Fiona Frauenfeld

Now the others I was like “this could be either or” on but idk I just see this pair being very soft? Cuz Fiona is selective mute but also gardens a lot (in her world, she has the power to grow plants) and like.....she just has a very calming nature about her and I think that could be good for Billy? I mean tell me if I’m wrong about that but I just think they could be incredibly Soft(TM).

5. Billy Hargrove + Eliza Zambie

This’ll be the opposite of soft because Eliza WILL get in this fucker’s face in defense of anyone anywhere. This pair will be FUN just because of that and I do not know what else to say but let them go at it.

           an almost finished Popsicle was being munched between her lips before it was nothing more than a stick, tossing it in the bin beside her. kids laughed and bounced while their mothers wrapped them in towels to go home for the day, the blonde making her way toward the lifeguard tower. 

               “ did you forget we’re hanging out? your sister said you haven’t been home all day. “ she knew it was unintentional. he’d never do that to her. 

      she tapped on the wood of the chair for him to come down, lifting her sunglasses and putting her hand over her forehead to shield the evening sun in her vision. 

              brows furrowed, head tilting. “ are you okay ? “ something about his facial expression look a bit troubled.

“Uh...” Kate tried to keep the surprise from her face as the guy in front of her took the sign-up sheet from her, one that clearly detailed one of the religious studies groups in the school and.....she didn’t want to make assumptions but Billy Hargrove didn’t seem like someone very interested in those types of activities. 

“Are, are you looking to sign up?” Kate asked after a beat, tone as soft and as polite as ever -- only the barest traces of confusion seeping through.

       The overly confrontational part of him resents that, and it rears up before rationality gets the better of him. “You’re on a public street asshole.” He snaps, lightning quick and acidic. Arms cross in front of his chest, chin tilting up, daring the other to say something. “I’ll mind my fucking business when it’s not happening right in front of me.” To think he’d come into this with the best of intentions, even a hint of concern, but it was one of those days. Eddie’s fuse was short and half lit, waiting for a speck of gasoline to ignite everything and make him explode.
