Hotawhat?
Ah yes, the library. A quiet place, full of books and knowledge. A place that currently housed a conked out Jake English, softly snoring on a stack of books that he was supposed to be studying. It wasn’t his fault that book work hardly suited him! He had been homeschooled for most of his young life, after all, and his education prior to Skaia University had consisted of colorful presentations, engaging discussions, botany, and the occasional sharp shooting.
Well, the sharp shooting was more than occasional. But still. Pouring through dusty old tomes was most definitely not a life style fitting for a rugged young lad like himself! Especially when he found himself rereading sentences several times in a row, due to forgetting them near instantaneously. It was just so dreary, and repetitive, that Jake found himself drifting off and...
Whoops. Here he was. Asleep. He really needed to stop falling asleep all the time. Inside his mind, he was free to drift through fantasy after fantasy of adventures, puzzle solving, and saving the day time after time again. It sure would be nice if dreams could come true.
But, alas, that would take some freaky powers that he most certainly did not possess.
Jake was dragged back to consciousness by a sharp tap on his shoulder, and when he looked up with bleary heavy eyes, a lovely sight greeted him. Wowzarooni.
“Um, uh, nice t’meet you, who’re you??”
The man, the myth, the legend. Slayer of hearts and champion of love. Jake English.
