He was never good with close combat without a weapon.  His weapons were an essential extension of him and without them he had no advantage.  And thus was the case when the men found him.  Members of another gang had been hunting down the individual Patron Minette leaders and Babet knew better than to walk alone and unarmed.  The beating was enough for him to go limp and he was eventually held up by two of the men while the third continued to deal blows, particularly to his ribs.

19. Your muse confronts mine about a self-damaging habit

Courfeyrac had been very careful. Exceedingly so, in fact, managing to keep his secret successfully from even his two best friends, and certainly Courfeyrac wouldn’t be caught in this area of the city, certainly wouldn’t be slipping money into the wrong hands, wouldn’t have a little baggie full of pills stashed in his jacket pocket or whatever he’d gotten that night-

And he certainly hadn’t expected Montparnasse of all people to step between him and the dealer outside the club he’d been at, and he let out an annoyed little huff when the man immediately darted away, folding his arms over his chest.

“What the hell are you doing is the proper question, jerk. Isn’t it a little hypocritical to get mad at me for doing something illegal, huh?” He said a bit defensively, trying to glare at him, although he’d always been awful at coming off in any sense of intimidation.

makes the bed in the mornings: Probably Jehan

has sole posession of the T.V. remote: Montparnasse. Jehan doesn’t care much about it anyway.

stays up until 2am reading: Most definitely Jehan. Sometimes ‘Parnasse stays up with him just for the fun of it.

is the bigger cuddler: Jehan, although ‘Parnasse seems to have a soft spot for cuddling with Jehan as well.

does the laundry: Jehan’s usually the one to do the laundry, but he always lets Montparnasse do the ironing if it needs to happen.

mows the lawn: neither, who even cares about that??

is better at budgeting: probably Montparnasse, because Jehan will literally buy anything he thinks one of his friends will like. He doesn’t spend a lot of money on himself though.

instigates the sex (and who’s into the kinkier stuff): it’s usually Jehan, because if he’s not feeling up to it, there’s most definitely not going to happen anything at all. Montparnasse has learned to wait until Jehan’s feeling like having some fun. The kinkier stuff would probably be more of Montparnasse’s area though.
