Who: Liliane & Savannah ( @savannah-wilkinson ) Where: Near the library When: January 6, midmorning
Though she preferred the solitude of Ravenclaw tower, or especially her dorm room, Liliane knew she couldn’t stay there forever. Her self-imposed exile could only last so long, and the sooner she got used to be in public, the better. So she decided to take a trip to the library, where she couldn’t be forced into conversation. People would still stare but she had to adjust to that sooner or later, and with any luck, she wouldn’t notice once she had a book in her hand.
Her pace as she moved through the corridors was quicker than perhaps it should be; eagerness to be alone again increased her speed, but self-consciousness kept her head down and eyes fixed on the floor, so it took a great deal of effort to stop when she realized someone was rounding the corner in front of her. “I’m sorry,” she began, looking up out of habit, and with a smile when she recognized Savannah in front of her. But the smile pulled oddly at the still-tender skin around the scar and Liliane let out a little huff of air, turning her head slightly to hide that side of her face. “I’m sorry, Savannah. I - I wasn’t looking where I was going.”
