The ghosts of @microsoft heard that I was baaaaack- just in time to do listings in @gigwalk to fund the formation, buildout, servers and hosts for #savantish This is the app that I worked so hard for- for @bing #photosynth 360°and @menupages #menupages. This data was turned into 250,000 meal donations (we took the menus and all of my data, and had restaurants donating all over the 5 borough's). While I was standing in the destruction zone of the Breezy Point fires, taking photos for Gigwalk/Bing maps, my phone started going crazy because @forbes named Gigwalk the MOST disruptive tech startup of 2012. I didn't look and/or answer any of the messages (at least in real-time) because I was obsessed with doing the right map photos- so that I wouldn't have to revisit anymore TERRIFYING hurricane Sandy disaster zones. So, I finally looked- and I went from being the data queen to the youngest judge and mentor. I went from being in the hot seat to being on the panels. It has been a decade: I'd rather still run around meeting small business owners! You can verify information using Gigwalk- whether auditing your brands, or populating your platforms with credible content! Today in my sweatshop: I'm probably never paying a graphic designer ever again. I told my friend Shaun that I want him to design the new #Savantish logo/concept for the website promos, but that's it! I'm going back to my days of making cat memes and posts about curly hair challenges?
