How to bypass Tumblr's '.webp' file to save gifs.
Find a moving image you want to save. Suggestions: ↓
Normally, you would right-click the image and select "Open image in a new tab." But a problem arises. If you try to save it now, then you save it as webp file.
Nevermind saving it. So how do you get the image as a gif?
Solution:
Go to the Address Bar, go to the end of the url.
Remove the letter V from the URL, then click enter to load the page.
Suddenly! Saving the image as a .gif is possible??
I don't know if it's relevant to you, but I want to save my tumblr gifs. I'm pretty happy found this way around it.
