I have always loved baseball.  It’s a wonderful game.  But today’s major league baseball is just about unwatchable.  Yesterday’s Mets - Phillies game is an example.  Four and a half hours to play nine innings?!  I now prefer minor league games where the play is excellent and the games move along at a reasonable pace - not to mention how much more affordable they are.  I fear that MLB is dooming itself by games that are way too long, too many strikeouts, too few hits and are very expensive to attend.
