mack is seriously gods strongest soldier. imagine being called the best teenage player in the world while simultaneously spending the most time on the ice every game and basically acting as a captain at NINETEEN. and he still goes out of his way to interact with fans and be kind. he should be at the god dam club hitting a blue razz geek bar.

SHE’S LIKE A RELIC hidden in the corner. One who people pause to whisper about, one who some even point a wayward finger at. You would think Diana was a work of public art, with how people stare and divulge their opinions about her so liberally. Whether it be criticism or praise, it is unwelcome, to be judged as though she is on trial. Alas, it comes with the superhero territory, does it not? At least, that’s what they say. That to be a public figure you trade in your right to all privacy. Apparently, you trade in your right to be treated as a person, too. It’s a truth Diana has known ever since revealing herself as the woman of wonder. No longer is she a myth, but a real, breathing entity to those she seeks to protect. To attend a gala requires a performance of sorts. She must flash pearly teeth in a smile; she must conceal her disdain at literally being poked by people who still can’t quite grasp that an Amazon princess such as her exists. Do they notice? How those smiling lips of hers downturn into a frown every so often, when she cannot continue to pretend that being treated like an object is sufficient for her. Ring-decorated fingers fiddle with the gauntlets on her wrists. 

She’s a relic, but she wishes she could just be a woman. That she could just be Diana.
