It is so so beautiful and you evoke the mood and settings so WONDERFULLY and Louis' depth of emotion and his appearance blossom in your portrayal and writing. I read and re-read your replies to our threads, and to others, and sit there wondering just *how* you write the way you do. From adjectives, metaphors, verbs, how one event flows into another--you create something deeply emotional and beautiful, yet easy so read and comprehend.
Your characterization of Louis, where he is tender toward life and others, but does stand up for himself in the most quietly noble way makes me (and most of us probably) feel compassion, instead of pity for him.
And how Louis has penetrated Vlad's existence?? I never expected Vlad to become so overwhelmed by Louis. Their troubled pasts, and similar desires for peace and a soul to match their own makes them PERFECT for each other. Louis is a champ for putting up with Vlad, though, when he is more of a pain for and towards Louis.

You are such a pleasure to write with, and this most unexpected ship has become such a favourite of mine.
