New report shows impact, struggles of Ohio's music venues
Ohio’s 312 clubs had an economic impact of more than $3 billion last year. Ohio’s impact is among the best states in the country.
However, 80% of Ohio's independent stages didn’t turn a profit in 2024.
Removing a radio station that actively promoted and supported shows at independent stages isn't going to help this factor either
The National Independent Venue Association's study shows that only 20% of independent stages were profitable in 2024.
