Hello, Daylight Saving Time. Nothing like checking the little activity lightning bolt at 11:15 pm and discovering that Tumblr thinks it’s already tomorrow. Rude.

(Also, for anyone who hasn’t had this particular linguistic crisis, it is actually Saving singular, not Savings-like-money. Cuz it’s the time we save daylight. I don’t know why so many of us are saying it wrong. But it’s widespread enough that it sounds right.)

daylight savings, the one day the cat can tell time

Every morning the cat complains that we are feeding her SO LATE and she is STARVING and this morning, unique among all days of the year, she is CORRECT, it is almost QUARTER TO NINE and we have not yet fed her, she is RIGHT
