One sea turtle every two 👇 ➖ A recent study from Queensland University highlighted how more than 50% of all sea turtles eat marine debris, and especially plastics, at least once in their life. Turtles who plastics can immediately die of suffocation, but sometimes plastic bags fill their stomach causing a long death for starvation. Abandoned fishing lines, ropes and nets are also a serious threat as they can trap and harm sea turtles long after having been lost by fishermen. ➖ We need to change our lifestyle and we cannot wait anymore. We all need to do our part. A huge thank you to our guest photographer Brandon Ryan Hannan 📸 @brandon_hannan_photography for these wonderful eye-opening pictures of sea turtles in their struggle for survival.
