god I'm such a fan of how your art style has developed over the course of the comic. I'm a bit of a sentimental sap when it comes to longform webcomics because I get a kind of ? secondhand pride? from watching people hone their craft, and in your case you've somehow turned the lineart itself into almost a bigger tone indicator than lighting or sound effects. Like. At the start of this chapter when Sonic was first waking up everything was kinda shaky and jagged, and then the lines calmed down and got smoother as he fully came to awareness and stayed there until the action picked back up and then your lines got all intense and sharp and triangular like. It's kind of like the Ghibli hairfloof/big gooey tears effect where you're describing how things feel instead of how they realistically look-- and you did that with just the lineart. Also I'm a huge fan of how you draw hands with fingerbeans, everyone's muzzles, and Tails' fur especially. There's just something so tasty about it. Intentional messiness? Punk rock graffiti vibes? I don't know what to call it but I'm enjoying the hell out of the show.
AW MAN thank you so much!!! I'm really proud of what I'm doing with lineart as well so I'm glad someone put into words that I could only do with art >< ♥ this means lierally sooooooo much to me u have no idea
