okay murderbot not being able to get off the table. Not being able to do anything to defend itself, not being able to be a 'murderbot' in it's own self defense. I kept expecting it to get up and murder those two guys, but it was so much more tragic and heartbreaking that it truly couldn't. guys. i have this snake. it’s like, some sort of rubber toy i got when i was a kid, very stretchy and generally gross feeling (in a pleasing way to me). i found it in a drawer again recently and i’ve been absolutely ruining my mum’s life by putting it in her slippers every time she takes them off, and sometimes my dad’s life is a bit ruined too by my actions
anyway that’s not the point
point is, there was a fly on a chair like a metre away from me and i had the snake and i was like fuck it i’m gonna try hit it with the snake like a whip or something
AND I FUCKING HIT THE FLY. I HIT IT. DEAD ON. IT FELL TO THE GROUND COMPLETELY STUNNED. I WAS SHOCKED INTO SILENCE. FIRST TRY.
