Recrearon el set original, vestuarios muy similares y trajeron a colación varios referencias reales como el episodio de la adicción a las pildoras de Jessie cantando "I'm so excited", cuando Slater bailó con licras y finalmente añadieron el embarazo de Kelly y Zack, cosa que en la versión original nunca hubiesemos visto.
