I 100% agree with your addition to that sciles post tbh. I've seen that argument a thousand times and a common theme seems to be either stiles was more wrong or scott was, failing to understand that they were BOTH in the wrong for a multitude of (understandable) reasons - insane amounts of stress, pressure, guilt, fear, etc. + your point that they're both working with false info. TBH a lot of that could've been avoided if they'd just had a real conversation, but alas.
This is kind of why I say Theo was the "best"/worst/most effective villain in the show. He manipulated people and engineered situations so well that even the fandom is generally blind to/forgets his actions, letalone the actual characters experiencing it in the show.
Seriously, the whole fucking thing is Theo's fault. I don't get why everyone is constantly rushing to blame Scott and/or Stiles.
