Hi sweet neighbours.

How are you all doing?

I'm so terribly sorry for my absence.

But the last two days had been so crazy.

My Mum actually offered to let me move into the bigger room six months earlier than we agreed on the first place.

A Christmas gift after a rotten year where I almost lost the boys and most of all myself.

Our friends Grazia and Pino helped and despite a bad back and plenty of painkillers I managed to move two rooms, redecorated them and now got my Sherlock study!

A bigger room, two windows, a reading corner and a desk.

I will save some money to renovate the place next year...still dreaming of the Baker Street wallpaper.

Right now I'm feeling exhausted, full of pain and strangely out of place and got total content.

I will make a video over Christmas to show you the place.

I promise!

Create yourself a save haven. It´s there for you and your dreams. It gives you strenght and fills you with love. In your save haven you can be you, which was maybe a bit hard to do between other people at first, you can practise this here. Be yourself. Your haven is free of everything that is not good for you and blocks you in some way. It gives you comfort, hope, and remembers you, what is really is important. Spend time there as often as you can, and how often you want. It will be good for you. Lot`s of love. Fur Pet's Sake: Make a Purchase

The Belmont County Humane Society is always looking for new ways to generate funding. That’s because the 501(c)(3) organization is not a recipient of any public funding in the way the animal shelter and other similar organizations are. The society and its director, Angela Hatfield, survive on donations, both monetary and in goods and services. The group has a yearly sale that is a great fundraising mechanism, but COVID derailed those plans this year. That is, until recently. The humane society’s 100-plus cats routinely receive their veterinary care at Goodworks Veterinary Hospital on S. Marietta Street in St. Clairsville. Recently, two doors down, Hatfield noticed a for rent sign in a building that she’d had her eye on for some time. Hatfield made inquiries of the building’s owner, who originally was looking for a higher monthly rent payment and the signing of a year-long lease. For most people, that’s a fair trade to get a primo spot in downtown. But for the society, which needs to squeeze every dollar it can to pay for vet bills, food, litter, yearly shots, flea medicine, and a whole list of other pet-related items, the price was a bit high. Fortunately, the owners had a benevolent streak when informed about Hatfield’s purpose for utilizing the space. Just Haven Questions VIII

If William knew where the ruins of the Barn were, why didn’t he find the control? He says that the ruins were wooden (and thus, useless, implying that he had been looking for a remnant of the Barn which still had power). And if he did find the control, even unwittingly, why did the control not activate for him?

When Nathan touched the control, it activated the Sphinx Guardian, who then proceeded to react  by asking them her question. A wrong answer would have destroyed the control, ostensibly to keep it from falling into the wrong hands. But wouldn’t William have counted as the wrong hands? Even if he didn’t know what he was holding, at the time? Why didn’t she activate??

The control couldn’t have been set to activate for just anyone, or even for any Immortal, or it would have activated for William... So was the control set to activate for only certain people? Maybe, but that wouldn’t explain why it activated for Nathan; there’s very little chance anyone could predict his existence proximity.

Does that mean that the control was set to activate by human touch? Is that why Nathan could activate it, and why William never realized what it was?

Was the control always meant to be found by a human?

The question the Sphinx asked is simple for someone who was Good to answer. The question was simple for someone who understood the purpose of the Barn, but obviously William couldn’t answer it and there was no way to foretell Nathan’s participation in this exact manner.

So who was the question for?

Was it for Mara?

Was she, after having lived so many human lives, supposed to be able to activate the control and face the Sphinx, and freely recognize that the Barn had never been a punishment for her, but a method of rehabilitation?

Would she have received the control the way Nathan did, if she answered correctly?

Could she have built a new Barn with it, and truly saved everyone from the Troubles she had given them, once upon a time?
