Josh Hinger’s Instagram post spoke to my heart on so many levels.
So much of jiu-jitsu is the “family”, friendships, and bonds we’ve formed with our team.....the mental therapy it provides us from our everyday grind. But even just the primal physical piece to train is greatly missed as well. To compete with one another, to conquer on even the smallest levels, to prevail in what feels like sometimes a sport of survival during a 7 minute match is something you cannot find with just any “exercise program” with social distancing guidelines or over a “zoom class”. It just can’t happen. We as a community miss contact with one another. His post is passionate and heartfelt...it may not be politically correct but when someone feels this way it’s not suppose to be. It’s REAL. ❤️
