Jason Kenney and the UCP are closing 20 parks and transferingnownership for another 164 sites ... WITHOUT public consultation. This includes campsites, recreation areas, XC ski trails including sites in #kananaskis ... . In other news, California is planning on banning gas vehicles in 2035. That's a huge market and only 15 years away. How many other states will follow once the devastating impacts of climate change become more apparent? . The UCP's plan to sell our most precious resource to pay for a pipeline that will be obsolete as quickly as it is built is a truly terrible plan. Trading our priceless wild spaces for a reckless, misguided gamble is a travesty and a devastating affront to the legacy we will be leaving behind to the next generation of Albertans. . The question now is will Jason Kenney listen to what Albertans obviously want ... or will he continue down a path that most oppose?
