The quiet sound of hissing steam echoed out as my senses adjusted the new place I had...entered? The bright light which had hurt my eyes momentarily, was not going away any time soon.
It had once washed over the closet I was leaning into but it had felt like I had been moved- I was no longer hunched over in the cramped secluded closet- I was standing on a white and cream tiled platform- But I had never registered myself moving nor the world around be shifting and breathing.
It was like a breath of fresh air as I clicked that panel in Peter's room- like opening a window after a muggy-night's sleep- but instead of closing my eyes and taking a deep breath- I was lifted away with one inhale...and exhale.
Step after step I walked out- my hand reaching out to a golden railing which lined the arched doorway, It felt cool as my fingers glided over it- and as my eyes shifted from a squint to an open gaze, they widened in amazement. Taking in my surrounding I did my best not to be short of breath.
Clouds...bubbling and climbing over my shoes- over the hovering platforms, it's tiles and an endless sky.
It felt like it was alive.
