Today I am pleased to report that I am the proud owner of a healthy pair of boobs! 4 weeks ago I found a lump while doing my regular self-check in the shower. I gave it two weeks to resolve on its own. When it didn't, I went to my doctor. She ordered a mammogram and ultrasound and I just passed both with flying colors! There's a thickening of some tissue, so we'll keep an eye on it, but that's it. Easy peasy. Was it a pleasant experience? Meh. Would I do it all again for the peace of mind I have, and for establishing a baseline for future care? Hell yes. Cop a feel ladies! Trust your gut. Don't wait for problems to solve themselves.
