i was just joking a bit i don’t think it’s the same i’ve never actually been high in my life and will never be, but the kick of euphoria we/i get out of our special interest is the closest thing i’ll ever be to high, you’re just sooo inside your own world of whatever you’re interested in, and reality fades away a bit and all you can think about is your SI and it’s just awesome

but if i were to try any form or weed or medication that would make me high i think it’d give me pretty bad anxiety because i already struggle with dissociation so much and with that it would just reach the next level and i don’t think it would end well and dissociating already freaks me out when i’m aware of it

but this one time something really exciting relating to my SI happened and my mind really went insane and in overdrive at night that i literally got my first ever panic attack from it and that’s the story of how i came to struggle with anxiety (thankfully the worst is over and i’m mostly okay these days, but I struggled with anxiety at night after that for a pretty long time and still sometimes do)
