UPDATE: My original order (placed on September 3rd) from @brecks_bulbs at long last, finally arrived today. FedEx lost it, and last week a replacement order was initiated, shipping in the next 24-72 hours. The first picture is ideally how the Stromanthe Triostar should look. When I first picked up the box, it was featherweight—I knew that was bad, because that meant it dried out. As you can see, this poor plant is a desiccated, broke-down, hot mess. ☹️ It was so dry, it shifted out of its nursery pot in transit. However, I have a strong sense this unfortunate plant can be revived. There are still signs of life! I’ve rehydrated it, clipped away most of the dead, or dying leaves, and gave it fresh air and afternoon sun on my balcony. After a couple of days outside in the mild autumn weather, I’ll bring it in for further inspection and intensive care. * * * #stromanthetriostar #brecks #plantparenthood #plantrecovery #savingprivateplant #brokedown #hotmess #urbangardening #planttlc #planticu #desiccated #survivor #signsoflife (at 02169) https://www.instagram.com/p/CFu2DFwAVRS/?igshid=k5on4ugyjcg5
