Wrapping up the third Demand Creation Event for @careorg 's new linkage training protocol earlier today in Kyuu, Tanzania. _ 💰The new training is designed to help rural Tanzanian and Kenyan savings groups transition from saving funds in a box to special bank accounts. _ These groups will be joining National Microfinance Bank Tanzania to save their money safely and gain access to more tailored financial services. 🌍 #microfinance #AccessAfrica #savingsgroups #everydayafrica #Tanzania #Kyuu #NMB #Care (at Moshi)

📝🙋 Money management and bank account usage aren't the most exciting topics of conversation, but the #CARE #AccessAfrica team need to learn more about the why's and how's of successfully linked VSLAs (village savings & loans associations with NMB bank accounts) to find out what's working and what isn't concerning the product and our training program. NMB (national microfinance bank), Tanzania's largest bank, has created a special bank account for savings groups in Tanzania with minimal charges and easily understood features.
