May sounds silly but I have a theory that when gems perfectly fit each other (Ruby and Saphire are close to this, because only the third eye is their physical anomaly) they fuse permanently. I think Jasper is that kind of fusion and maybe she despises the non-perfect ones, like Garnet.

Ahhh, I dunno? Maybe I’m just thinking no fusion can ever be ‘perfect’, because no relationship can be perfect- so Jasper being a perfect fusion feels doubtful to me.

Your theory is totally valid though, as neither of us are correct or incorrect- we just have different readings of this character it seems!

Um... Whenever I make something art related I feel very anxious and about sharing it with other people. Actually no: whenever I make ANYTHING, not only art related, I feel that way. Have you ever felt like that and if so, how did you overcome it?

yeah, I’ve always been an anxious person. mainly about social stuff, but showing off artwork is a very social thing too.

anxiety is something that you can fight, and the only real way to fight it is to ignore the feelings and do the thing anyway. anxiety will beat you a lot of the time, but just let it have a few victories and then kick its ass. then keep kicking its ass.

if you like your work, there’s probably at least one other person in the world who also likes it. only way to find out is to actually share it. if it bombs, no biggie, keep trying. billions of people in the world, everyone is mediocre, every idea has already been done. work hard at what you want to work hard at, have fun whenever you can.

During the growing up, there was so many people I wanted to be friends with (or more?) but they were way out of my reach… but lately, (and I’ll admit, mostly thanks to tumblr) I realised there’s nothing wrong with liking being alone and that one can be whole and happy even when they don’t have anyone close. And I guess that’s me.

But yeah… the teenage years were… hard. In that matter.

i use google translator for all my fanfiction. I type it all in my language then copy paste, then hit the translate button, and then i translate into English, then copy paste it again. BAM!! PERFECTION.
