I’m curious, what makes the murderbot audiobooks so good that you want to listen to them so often? (I’ve only read the first book, very much need to buy the rest soon cause I loved it)
Well, the actor who narrates, Kevin R. Free, does a fantastic job of capturing Murderbot's deeply sardonic tone. So that's one big reason. I also just happen to be stuck in a miserable groundhog day spot right now, life-wise, and Murderbot feels comforting. Plus, the latest book was good, and in general I'm just enjoying spending time with these characters.
I highly recommend grabbing the second book and forging ahead! It really is a fantastic series.
