Ingredients: 4 bone-in pork chops. 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar. 2 tablespoons soy sauce. 2 tablespoons honey. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 teaspoon dried thyme. Salt and pepper to taste. 2 tablespoons olive oil.
Instructions: In a small bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Place pork chops in a shallow dish and pour half of the balsamic mixture over them. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 400F 200C. Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the pork chops for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned. Pour the remaining balsamic mixture over the chops and transfer the skillet to the preheated oven. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the pork reaches an internal temperature of 145F 63C. Serve the pork chops with the pan sauce spooned over the top. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
