Been doing alot of traveling, and not as much painting. I haven't abandoned the medium, but am trying out photography. documenting these amazing places I am getting paid to see. Here is one picture I took from my recent trip to Palisades State Park, one of the most unique areas in South Dakota. Split Rock Creek, which flows through the park, is lined with Sioux quartzite formations varying from shelves several feet above the water to 50-foot vertical cliffs. Scenic overlooks and rushing water make Palisades a popular getaway. The park is popular among campers, photographers, sightseers, picnickers, rock climbers and hikers.

Poison

Acrylic on mached bible pages

16 inch by 20 inch

Hairless cat peaking from behind a wine glass labeled poison. All colors are metallic finished acrylics, with blacks being matte. All whites are pearl and metallic. Edging was created with watered down black, with glitter mixed in. I wanted this piece to have a different dimension based on the angle of viewing. The pentagram, and crown are highlighting the very nature of cats, while this is painted on layers of aged bible pages.

Constance Sawinski 19" x 29" Acrylic

My grandmother,  in 1949. A piece I painted based off a picture that was given to me. Sadly while she is no longer with us, her words still ring true with me. Her love and acceptance was overwhelming, overcoming our own years of missed contact, and the lack of character and fortitude of others.     She was an amazing, smart, motivated woman.  I still miss her constantly.     My grandmother has been on my mind more than usual as of late. I often ponder what advice she would give me today, but I know. Her voice still talks to me.  I just wanted to reshare this piece of art with the world, just taking a moment of respect for someone so dear and loved by so many people.

Although Digital works are his preferred mediums, that does not limit him.

Spray paint, oils, acrylics, metal, wood, plex, brick, stone, mortar, banners, murals, custom designs, professional designs, framed prints, photography . . . Anything and everything is open to use in a piece of Sawinski artwork.

Always keeping an open mind to the outcome of a piece allows for the mind to create what it sees fit. Unhindered. While there are defining elements to each artistic creation, the expansive style allows for a wide net of subject matter.

One piece can be dark, moody, somber, while the very next can display qualities of happiness and joy. There is definitely something for everyone is his gallery. So spend some time, review his work. If there truly isn't a piece that speaks directly to you, it could just be that it hasn't been created for you yet.
