Since I’ve picked up writing my Captain Underpants fanfic again, I was inspired to give my OC Sawyer a new look.
Sooooo… remember my Captain Underpants fanfic, Like the Sun and the Moon?
Well, after a near 5 year hiatus (I am so sorry), I’m finally getting back in the groove of writing it again!
And to celebrate, I’m gonna post a little preview of the next chapter!
Enjoy!
Is it just me or does this song Two Birds by Regina Spektor give off Sawyer and Benny vibes? It has that bittersweet feel that I got from reading Like the Sun and the Moon. I don’t know if this happens later or not, but I imagined Sawyer trying to get Benny to open up to her about Cap (“I’ll believe it all…there’s nothing I won’t understand”), but he literally can’t because he himself doesn’t even know that he’s Captain Underpants.
I never really thought of it that way.
Minor spoilers, but there actually is going to be a moment in the next chapter where Krupp opens up to Sawyer about the “memory blackouts” he’s been dealing with lately.
Decided to upgrade some of the designs of some of my CU OCs; Sawyer Grayps, her kiss Jade and Benny, her Ex-Husband (but still good friend) Keyon Lime, and girlfriend Lei Xi.
And I thought this would be the time to test out my new watermark. (I’ve had some of my art reposted without my permission in the past, so I’m taking some extra precautions)
You mentioned A Goofy Movie and I can imagine Benny and Sawyer singing the songs non stop. (My favorite from that film is Stand Out. I was part of a performance camp that was the song that many kids wanted to audition for to get the solo part (I’m glad I was no longer a part of it when they had Let it Go as a number one year-I don’t even want to imagine how many tried to audition))
YES. Also, Sawyer has the Perfect Cast dance pretty much memorized.
(While I do love Stand Out, my personal favorite song from that movie has always been I 2 I)
You know, since you also see Erica as being a useless lesbian around her crush, what if Sawyer gave her advice on talking to girls in your AU?
Oh, she absolutely would! Sawyer knows what it’s like to have your tongue tied in a Sailor’s Knot when it comes to talking to a crush.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SAWYER!!!!
Today’s the second anniversary of the day I created my CU OC, Sawyer Grayps!
Since Sawyer also appears in your version of TetoCU, how would she react to Melvinborg being the principal and that her BFF got demoted and has to endue various humiliations? (Also, I don't think she'd let him change her class so easily, or allow herself to get replaced with a robot).
Well, she’d be disappointed in Melvin for going along with it, that’s for sure.
And hoooooo boy, would she cause all kinds of an uproar towards Melvinborg. Like hell she’s going to let herself be replaced by a bucket of bolts, or let the future self of one of her students mess with her best friend! Krupp got enough humiliation from his own mother growing up, he doesn’t need more from some spoiled, entitled stage mom of a cyborg!
She even tries going to “Grace Wain” to try to get Melvinborg fired. But Grace tells her that the only reason that she hasn’t booted him out of there yet is because she has a feeling he’s planning something, and this is the only way she can really keep an eye on him.
...And then the whole incident with the nanobots happens, and when she finds out what’ll happen if they completely take over CU’s brain, she straight up punches Melvinborg, and after opting to stay behind to try and distract CU from causing any major damage, tells him this:
“You caused this, and you better damn well fix it, because that man is family to me! And if anything happens to him, my daughter, or the boys... I will end you.”
