Envy for Syffus? 8D

Envy: A headcanon about something my troll is jealous about.

Syffus wants to be respected in her field above almost all else… and she figures she probably never will be because she’s not even green (and she’s not wrong). So there is some definite jealousy there. 

Also; technological prowess. Her big motivator for learning new skills is coveting the ones other trolls already have.

sloth, syffus?

Syffus does not, can not and - and far as she’s concerned - should not change her mind. Once she’s decided something, it takes a literal battery of evidence to switch her opinions around. Especially about her future career. She’s got a really, really bad case of the sunk cost fallacy blues.

4: their insecuritiesThe Compiler gets incredibly touchy when one of his ships doesn’t work out. He never wanted to be a relationship-calculating computer but now that he is one, he wants to at least be good at it.

Sawyir’s not really introspective enough to have much of an idea about her own insecurities. She gets defensive about the few times she’s had to straight up kill somebody, though, if it comes up.

6: how they deal with griefDeath and grief are just kind of things that happen, for Sawyir. If she loses a good teammate, she’ll go to the wake and drink too much and tell embarassing stories about the deceased and maybe cry on somebody’s shoulder. But she’ll wake up the next night and move on with her life. 

She’s not big into quadrants, but the death of a very close friend might send her down for a bit longer. She’d take the opportunity to re-evaluate some things in her life, maybe, and decide to spend more time with her friends that are still living. Ultimately, though, she doesn’t dwell on grief.

17: their ambitionsThe future is an unknown land and Sawyir’s in no particular hurry to get there early. She doesn’t plan things long term, she just rolls with what happens. So, currently, she’s looking to make it to the continental FLARP championship, but her ambitions don’t extend much past that.

19: their reaction to betrayalMetadata is an old hand at betrayal. They’ve been on both sides of it often enough that they don’t bother getting mad. They just get even.

Introducing...

the descendant!

Sawyir’s gonna be the TRFACT’s presence on-planet from now on. Hopefully, she’ll make it a little easier to get the ball rolling.

I’ll be posting an open starter for her later tonight, maybe, or tomorrow sometime. So keep an eye out for that!
