@krokonoko and I were having a chat the other day and when we talked about body build of Divine, he mentioned that Divine has a very small waist and how you just wanna grab and squeeze it.
Just a little boy with his imaginary friend! I hope he grows up to very nice man with a big group of friends!
Firstly, WOW! I need to work on my background art more xD but I have to do it! I must expand my art. This was a labor of love.
Secondly, yes, this is a reference to the iconic Calvin and Hobbs art, and it's fitting! And thirdly, this is based off my headcanon from Divine's past as a child. Such a sweet child who sadly grows into a monster
I told myself not to do this, but I’m so happy with the progress I’ve made with this thing I’m doing and I wanted to share a page! This is stil a work in progress, so enjoy the rough pencils!
A little bit of inspiration from the original Yu-Gi-Oh! Manga about the mental torture, so why not have Ccarayhua take on the face of Toby just to mess with him!. I am making thing up as I go along and some headcanon stuff would be sprinkled in. No clue how long this will be, but we’ll see. Enjoy!!
Surprise surprise! it's WIP! I'm doing a comic, kinda in the style of webtoons, but not really... anyway... about the final moments of Divine after he was eaten and arrested, kind of giving closer to him; Also gives me a chance to add my artistic twist to the Earthbound Gods. This is my favorite panel so far. No idea how many pages this will be, but hope you guys will look forward to this and more!

Welcome to the final part to this thing! Let's put this to rest! Let's go!
Ok, so where did we leave off?
God bless this shot LMAO I'm willing to bet this isn't the first time Divine was asked that.
You know what bugs me right now? This is supposed to be post Dark Signers, right? Why are they still using Divine's default design? Last I checked, the guy has a giant scar on the right side of his face, and his art right now is ripped straight from Reverse of Arcadia... There IS art of him after he was attacked at the HQ, why not reuse that?! Here is what he's SUPPOSE to look like right now in this situation:
Aki proclaims that she is here for a purpose and one purpose only: to take down the Arcadia Movement. Divine tells her that he sees she made her decision, and it's irrelevant, because woman; Am I right?
Apparently, Divine's powers are much stronger that he can control anyone to do his dirty work. Ok, interesting. So, who are you bringing out?
MOTHERFUCKER!! ENOUGH WITH THE KIDS!! WHY?!
ANYWAY!
Apparently, Divine has mind controlled Rally to do his bidding and Aki calls him a monster.
My brother in Christ... DO IT NOW! Aki's RIGHT THERE!
WHO- You get the point. The joke has ran its course.
Divine laugh at that statement, as did I, and calls her out that she has lost most of her powers and wouldn't stand a chance against him, which begs the question: Why is he still pursuing her? If she has become this weak, why bother going through the trouble of getting her back? Cut your loses and move on! You have this sudden power to mind control people, just roll with it. Just start rioting with all those kid you keep abducting for some reason... I mean, unless you have feelings for her... He did say he wants to rule with her... Maybe as his queen? That's just the Psychicshipper in me LMAO
JUST DO IT ALREADY!
Aki says that he underestimates the source of her powers, and that power is the power of NAKAMA! With Konami-kun by her side, both will annihilate Divine!
IT'S TIME TO DUEL!
Normally, I don't include screenshot or recaps of the duels themselves because it's the let's player's custom deck and every duel is different, but I want to point out this prematch dialogue from Divine:
The odd thing with this translation patch, only the cutscenes are translated, but any in-game texts, like during a duel, are not touched. Because I am a pleb, I whipped out my phone and through the translator app, I get this:
Well then! I think I saw else where, there's an update to that patch and the text was translated to something like "Let me show you the powers of a God"... I see why he calls himself 'Divine' LOL (I still think it's an alias) Never took him as a religious man.
DUEL ENDS! and you wanna know the funny part? I normally fast forward the video to skip the duels, but because I wanted to see what kind of deck Divine uses, I watch the entirety of it. The person lost the first time, then goes into the cheats tab on his emulator, then when the second match starts, they toggled an insta-win cheat to end the duel in a win! With all due respect... PUSSY! LMAO
Divine is in shock that Aki was this strong to take him and Rally out (through the power of HACKS!) and she tells him to turn himself in. Divine retorts that he still has the boy hostage and has the upper hand still. I think it's implied that Divine is hurting Rally with his Psychic powers(?), getting Aki angry.
He just love to antagonize her. He calls her out that she too used her powers to hurt others, so she's no saint either.
Well then... So at this point, Divine pulls an Emperor Palpultine and is all like "GIVE IN TO YOUR HATRED!" or whatever, and I think it might be working, as he says he's the only one who knows what she went through...
Yusei jump scare! WHERE THE HELL DID YOU COME FROM?! I guess the power of horny guided him to where Aki was; Even Divine's like "How did you get here?!", of course Yusei doesn't answer and is here to put a stop this madness and save, and I quote, "MY AKI!" I would post the screenshot, but tumblr has me restricted to only 30 pictures, and there more I want to share. Yusei said after all his effort to fix her, he won't let Divine undo all that work... Bruh, she's a human, not a motorcycle!
This is basically Divine in a nut shell! If I could ask Marc Thompson, the English voice actor of Sayer, to say this line, I could die peacefully LMAO
He claims that Aki will use her powers to aid him on his quest for WORLD DOMINATION MWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!, but Yusei's all "She doesn't need you anymore" and that she has something more powerful protecting her, and it's the power of NAKAMA!
Divine's like "cool story, bro, but I still have the kid"
SUDDENLY CROW! You know, this is the first time they've ever met! Crow, I guess, saves Rally and says back up has arrived and it's no other than Ushio!
...*sigh*... WHO TRANSLATED THIS?!
I guess Neo Domino City still has the death penalty! Aki is surprised to see Ushio, since he said that he was going to arrive tomorrow, but he knew Aki was going to go find Divine and said he lied too so he can find him... Ok... Also Yusei snitched and told him what she was going to do anyway.
The potty mouth! Divine has concluded that this the end for him, and Yusei tells him there's a nice cold cell for him and there's this warden in the facility that flicks his nose hairs that would 'love' to see him... You leave my twink daddy alone, mister!
WHERE THE FUCK DID JACK COME FROM?! So before Jack could let Divine know that his name is the Lord once he lay his vengeance upon thee, Divine, surprisingly, freaks the fuck out, saying he will not go to prison:
Wow, that escalated quickly! So he plans to collapse the building they are in on to him, hoping to kill them all at once. That's... really interesting, as there's no mention of any explosives or using any of his cards to do it, so is he using his Psychic powers, maybe like telekinesis (I have a post idea for this theory), to bring down the building? He must be REALLY powerful in that case; This fuels my headcanons and lore for him!
This actually tugged at my heart strings a bit. Even after all that, Aki pleas for Divine to not do it. I mean, she, and the others, could just run out, but she begged him to not kill himself... My heart :(
Ushio tells everyone to leave and Yusei tells Konami-kun to grab Aki; was she going to stay with Divine as he tries to crush everyone? SHE DOES CARE! Once everyone is out and the building is destroyed, Aki asks what happened to Divine.
Pour one out for our Psychic daddy, y'all ; n; RIP
YOU BITCH! Everyone hopes that he's actually dead this time, but Aki cannot let go of what Divine said about her: how it's all her fault and the so many people got hurt because of her. That man is dead, yet is still gaslighting her in the afterlife LMAO Yusei tells her she shouldn't harbor these thoughts any more and she has changed since the day they met, how she is in fact NAKAMA. He says Divine went down because of his foolish choice and not because of her, because NAKAMA...
"Divine's dead, so sad... Anyway!"
AND THAT'S IT! That was Aki's side story and her "closure" of the Arcadia Movement "arc" we never got... I have so much to say, but I think that will be it's own post for another day... Wow, what a shit show!
