Do you live by your words? I'm feeling a bit challenged by this today, reminded that if I want to do great things and influence more people I need to nudge my life towards a higher standard.
Say it Do it!
So this is the time of the week when I usually come up with my goals for the week. This week is going to look different for me. I am just not feeling well and I do not want to push myself. I have this horrible chest cold and let me tell you it is painful.
I am a firm believer that rest is the best thing for your body when you are not feeling well. Luckily I follow Jeff Galloways Training Plan and this week is my "slow down" week. This should help me get better faster. So this is what I want the rest of my week look like.
Monday: Rest
Tuesday: 3 Miles
Wednesday: BodyPump/BodyFlow (depending on how I feel)
Thursday: 3 Miles
Friday: Rest Day
Saturday: 2.5 Miles
Sunday: Yoga.

Like I said before I managed to be spot on last week. I am going to shoot for that again this week.
Monday: 3 miles
Tuesday: BodyPump
Wednesday: 3 Miles
Thursday: BodyPump
Friday: Rest Day
Saturday: 5 Miles
Sunday: Yoga.
Now that I think about it. I already had a hiccup in todays workout. So many things went wrong as I was trying to get to they gym that I ran out of time. I was only able to get 2.4 miles in. Such is life. I am planning on making it up on Wednesdays run.
I am also thinking I may want to go to BodyFlow after my run on Saturday instead of Yoga on Sunday. I really enjoy the class and it is not offered on Sunday. But we will see how I feel on Saturday.

Well I am back this week and it feels so good! Monday: BodyPump Tuesday: 3 miles Wednesday: BodyPump Thursday: 3 miles Friday: Rest Day Saturday: BodyFlow Sunday: 3 miles As you know this is subject to change. I plan on getting this all done but the days that it happens just might change. Because life happens.

My workouts last week were not quite as planned. Sometimes life happens. I was able to switch things around and only miss BodyFlow. I had to get 2 fillings done. I am also trying to focus on being more present in my life. Yes it is important to get my work outs in but it is also important for me to spend quality time with my friends and family. So if I only workout 5 days a week instead of 7 it will be okay. Alright enough rambling and onto this week. Monday: BodyPump Tuesday: 3 miles Wednesday: Zumba. I am going with my best friend. It is her first time going to a Zumba class. It shouldbe a good time :) Thursday: 3 miles Friday: 6 miles. Maybe. I am not sure long I want to go yet. Saturday: Rest Day Sunday: 3 mile run or Yoga. Depends on how the day goes. It is Christmas after all and I plan on being present and enjoying the moment :)
