Meals for Monday June 10th
Today started like any other Monday, crappy. Of course I didn't want to go to work but I went anyways. I started off with a 6" turkey and black forest ham sub at 8am
At 10am I ate the other half of that foot long and this whole time I have been drinking water so its been good. I really needed a good start after this unhealthy weekend.
At lunch, I folded and gave into my cravings. My brain was telling me to get a grilled chicken bowl with black beans but someone ordered some carne asada fries and it was over. These delicious meat infested fries topped with guacamole, cotija cheese, and sour cream is my biggest weakness. Even bigger weakness than coke. I also had coke. I've been good at avoiding coke even at home. What can I say? The flesh is weak.
I was supposed to eat about two hours before hitting the 6pm crossfit class but I was still full with the food of the gods that is the irresistible carne asada fries (btw, if this wasn't a fitness blog, I would highly recommend carne asada fries from Lolita's Taco Shop, you can find them pretty much anywhere in San Diego. You can use google or yelp to find them) For dinner, after stopping at Starbucks for a grande white chocolate mocha, I had some left-overs from the seafood soup I had during the weekend.
I was also able to drink over a gallon of water today. So with the exception of the carne asada fries and the can of coke but adding my killer workout, using the immortal words of Ice-Cube, "I would have to say today was a good day"
