Jace just kinda assumes that Porter is a Straight Guy™️ sleeping with guys on the DL until Porter brings up his on again off again ex and off hand uses he/him pronouns to refer to said ex.

Jace kinda short circuits bc when Porter has brought up some of his exs before they were all women. Porter notices and asks him if he said something wrong and Jace just shakes his head and asks him to keep talking because Porter is SPILLING a little bit with how messy he and his ex boyfriend were and Jace HAS TO know more.
