Hernan is a police officer who meets a resident named Kirk by chance, which makes him start a relationship that makes their days easier. However, Kirk keeps a secret that puts in risk this new relationship as his friends who try to protect him and get blood for him.

Iiiit’s time! Welcome to round three of the Superbat Big Bang!

This is an all-worlds, all-continuities big bang challenge. We welcome fanworks set in the DCU, DCAU, Extended Universe, Gods and Monsters, Smallville, Nolanverse, AUs of all types, no specific continuity – the sky’s the limit.

For this round, we’ve relaxed our pairing requirements a little to include Apollo/Midnighter and Earth-11 Superwoman/Batwoman.

The sign-up form for claims is hosted on Airtable. You can find it here, or at the link above.

Sign up as an author or an artist. You can sign up as both if you’re feeling ambitious (but artists cannot claim their own fic).

All fic must prominently feature a qualifying pairing. If you are unsure whether your pairing is eligible for the challenge, see our Is This Superbat? page or send us an ask!

All genres and universes allowed! Fusions, crossovers, non-canonical AUs and non-specific continuities are also welcome.

Authors will write one fic at least ten thousand (10k) words in length.

Artists will make at least one piece of finished art for the fic they claim, OR a single fanvid/multiple fanvids that total 1.5 minutes.

Details of fanwork for the bang should not be made public until after art claims, to keep the process anonymous.

On your posting date, you must post your fic and/or art in full. No works in progress or serial posting. Neither fic nor art should be posted before your posting date – this includes large excerpts, such as several paragraphs or an in-progress sketch.

Fic rough drafts + summaries are due April 4th, 2021. Art/fanvid rough drafts are due June 20th, 2021.

Posting will begin on July 5th, 2021.
