A Caleb encounter at the SXSW!!

We got a  great submission from our follower Sara, who lives in Austin and met Caleb last night!! Thank you so much for sharing this awesome story with us, honey!! And the encounter shows once more that Caleb is such a sweetheart and a true gentleman!! We LOVE it!! So here we go:

HEY IT'S SARAELI! so here's the story... I work for sxsw and if we see a celebrity we're not allowed to take pictures with them or talk to them unless they're asking us a question or if we're not on shift, but last night I was working while he was there. I was holding the door open for a line of people to walk in to see Friday's child, and honestly it was really late and I was working the night shift so I was super tired so I didn't really realize it at first when Caleb walked by with his parents! he was SO NICE it was my job to hold the door but then he took it and looked at me and said "are you going in too?" and I kinda froze because I realized like holy shit it's Caleb and then I said oh no I'm fine I'm just holding the door and then while his parents walked in before him I was thinking to myself it's now or never so I just said really fast "big fan by the way!" and he seemed kind of surprised and smiled and said "oh, thanks!" So then he went in and his movie completely sold out and usually we reserve seats for the cast but he didn't take his reserved seat so other people who wanted to watch it could see it? so he was just walking around the lobby! and at one point I was given an assignment that meant I had to go to that theater so I ran in and gushed to my friends immediately (because they know I love him) but I didn't know he was rIGHT THERE BEHIND ME but he didn't hear me because he was kind of far but when I walked out he was walking the other way and gave me like that awkward smile that people give when you stare at each other and are walking by each other lol but I had work to do so I kept moving... then eventually the movie started right, and the crowd outside was gone and I had nothing to do anymore and I thought Caleb left right, but then I SAW HIM COME BACK WALKING TOWARDS ME. My managers were all gone and talking to other people because there was another big premiere after so no one was paying attention and I knew I would regret it if I didn't say something but I also didn't want to break the rules... so THANKFULLY Caleb was just wandering around and I asked him if he was going in and he said "yeah sure" and then he asked me something but I couldn't hear him? and oh my god I should not have done this but...  i really love his song I'll become because I used to listen to it every day when I got out of therapy to make me feel better lol so it kind of means a lot to me so I told him really fast "I really love your song I'll become by the way" and he got so happy and he had the softest smile on his face like he was surprised and he went "oh wow thank you! I'm Caleb by the way!" and the reached out his hand to shake mine but I was so afraid I was going to get in trouble so...  I shook his hand (SO SOFT AND BIG LOL) and I said "I'm.... not allowed to talk to you!!" but then he kept asking like really softly "what's your name" like god damn he is really the least threatening guy ever but I was like ok he asked so I said my name is Sara and I'm from Mexico so I kind of forget Americans don't pronounce it the same way so I pronounced it rolling my r and I was kind of surprised that he pronounced it right!!! And then I said again sorry I'm not allowed to talk to you! and he was like oh ok and left fast and smiled at me... and then I went on break and I came back and he was just walking around and there's this bean bag game at a place across the street and he just started playing with it lmao and then later he walked back in with some other people and he was having a conversation but he TOTALLY stopped mid-sentence to smile at me I couldn't believe it.... I was kind of sad because I was working outside but he was still walking around in there and I couldn't do anything but then my friend showed up to go talk to him and she took a picture with him, it's the one you guys reposted from twitter, and she told him "my friend is a really big fan of yours" and he went "oh, you mean Sara?" and I was so touched because he remembered me hours later 😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️ He also told her that today his movie is playing again and I just got out of a job interview so I couldn't go when it started but I'm going to be there early around when it ends so I'm going to see if he's there and if I can see it again! seriously you guys he was the softest person ever just his voice and his demeanor and his hands! my friends have other stories of meeting him that day too and they all love him! I'm glad he's actually nice in real life and not secretly mean lol!

That's all for my story, but if you all want any more details just let me know! he was really sweet with his parents too when they left they all had their arms around each other.
