HOME // TERROR TWINS
To say that things between Nico and Nikki were awkward would be an understatement. They hadn’t gone this long without talking on a daily basis in a long time, but tonight they had a dinner at their old childhood family home with their parents like they did usually ever two weeks or so. Nico wasn’t sure how the dinner was going to go or how long it’d take their parents to tell that they were in a bit of a spat at the moment.
Nico arrived first at the home, entering the house with some drinks and chips to bring for dinner. “I’m here!” He called out, greeting the family dog with a pat on the head before heading into the kitchen where his mom was currently bustling around. “Oh, hello darling!” She cooed, pressing a kiss to his cheek and took the items out of his arms. “Your father is outside working on the grill and Nikki is on her way. Why don’t you go..” She paused, seeing the strained look on his face at the idea of going to help his father. “Help me?” She quickly supplied instead and Nico nodded, going ahead and washing his hands to help his mother instead in the kitchen.
