You guys might already know this, but for salaries, I read about what Hello!Project members ~might~ be getting paid. Not the exact number, but the paying system. It's said that some girls, especially new members (not kenshuusei, since they pay to be trainees), get paid the Japanese minimum wage. Members who have been there longer (think C-ute, maybe 9th gen Momusu) get paid more, especially girls who do more extra work.

Yep, the base pay is still the same for everybody and stated in the contract! But with years, members will get salaries raises, indeed. They also get paid extra for gravure, dramas that have no affiliation with AKS and such, that is written in the contract too.

Artists are usually all paid for the albums that they sell, and I was wondering how the 48s got paid from those sales. I didn’t learn it until the other day with that percentage of handshake events/events they get! Which makes, a lot of sense.

☂ Rainy Blues // Seika & Wakaba

Seika ran through the busy streets racing towards the station. She had done the worst thing possible. That is, slept in when they had an 8am start and it was vocal lessons. She cringed to think what kind of scolding she would get if she turned up late, hence the mad dash to the station. It was the time where all the businessmen were making their way to work and the young girl awkwardly shoved her way through the crowd at the station just to guarantee she could make the next train.

As soon as she was pushed onto the train along with everyone else who could fit, she tried to adjust herself to the tiny space she had left. Shivering slightly at the wet umbrella that was sticking against her leg, Seika glanced sideways to see a familiar face sitting peacefully in one of the seats. At this rate, she wouldn’t be able to reach the girl till those around her moved off and trying to get the girl’s attention seemed a tad bit too weird. Seika did the awkward shuffle as people slowly began decreasing from the train and eventually after a few stops, she found herself standing in front of the other MNT member.

Just as she was about to tap the girl’s shoulder, Seika paused. How was the conversation going to go? Would it be rude if she asked her fellow member if she was late or not, or slept in? She slowly reached her hand out to tap Wakaba’s shoulder. “O-Ohayou gozaimasu...” Seika stuttered as the girl looked up at her. “Are you… late too?” she asked.

SH: When Matsumoto-san said he was the most handsome man alive, I didn't want to blush but my friend said I was! Why do I always fall for the arrogant type?? (;￣Д￣)

SH: Maybe I should wear bunny ears and go about spreading happiness to everyone I pass? I don't usually go for the cute look, but Akihiro, with those bunny ears, was a good balance of it in the video!

SH: Shuuji-san's video was so peaceful and calming-- but I watched it at school, so it was disturbed by my friends fangirling in my ear while watching it...Ah well, I just re-watched it later on. Ganbatte, Shuuji-kun, thank you for the happiness!

SH: My friend made me watch Omi's Share Happiness video, but she nearly fainted right when he introduced himself! I don't want the same fate, but when he started doing such cool moves it was hard. I'm a sucker for soccer players! (;´Д`)
