i thought of this idea randomly this afternoon, and so i thought it’d just be a fun filler thing to do. @chrepsi also has a similar post here so creds to her! 😛

nick | dark paradise . . . i feel like this song fits nick just because of the depth of it. i think nick is a deeply emotional person even if he’s not fraglie. such as in the way he feels so deeply for strangers. it also has a certain drama about it that nick definitely gives.
matt | blue jeans . . . i think the longing in this song really encapsulates the fact that matt has said before that nostalgia will be the death of him, and i feel this song really dwells on the past but in a poetic and nostalgic way.
chris | video games . . . this song is emotionally sincere and super vulnerable, just like chris, who tends to wear his heart on his sleeve, but is also protective in a way that shields his emotions.
weedkiller | ashnikko
nick | worms . . . this song screams individuality, which nick has downpat. he’s not afraid to be himself and express his personality in a bunch of different ways. it’s also such a fun song that definitely has nick’s energy.
matt | weedkiller . . . i feel like this song really feeds into tough matt lol. it’s totally giving matt when he gets pissed off. and it’s got such such a gritty vibe to it, which i think matt gives too.
chris | miss nectarine . . . this song has a certain slightly darker but fun vibe that screams chris, and the lyrics also feed into the fact that him and matt have said the girls he likes don’t like him back.
superunknown | soundgarden
nick | my wave . . . the message of this song is all about rejecting society and being who you want to be without judgement or shame, which again, nick embraces wholeheartedly and pulls off really well.
matt | the day i tried to live . . . this song explores the struggle of trying to heal and “live” from when you’re feeling down and stuck. it’s about being tired but still showing up, and still trying. i believe that matt has a lot of perseverance and he’s quite patient, and will try even if it’s hard.
chris | spoonman . . . chris is so much deeper than he seems. on the outside, he seems goofy, silly, and just a chill guy, but in my opinion, he’s a lot more than that. he’s smarter than people give him credit for, and he doesn’t always have to be happy. this song explores a street performer being misjudged based on stereotypes and the outside look and not his actual passion and depth. so it definitely fits chris imo.

nick | bloodonmyhands . . . this song is bold, and really has a theme of not giving a fuck what others think of you, which nick encapsulates perfectly. but it also encapsulates freedom, which- out of the triplets- nick fits much more, generally being the more independent triplet.
matt | nostalgia . . . as i mentioned above, matt has mentioned multiple times that he dwells on the past and gets caught up in nostalgia. especially with anxiety, and the feelings of guilt and loss, which this song explores.
chris | means i care . . . this song is super chris coded imo because of the very obvious theme of shutting someone out in order to protect your emotions. chris has said before that he’s very protective of his emotions, and that he has some trust issues, so this definitely fits.
