Let's admit it. It was not usual to receive visits on the temple.
Not to mention from humans. Either it would be for a favour or a wish, or a compliment; some of the sort.

Even if close to the people , the temple still had some hard paces to get along with, with its long stairway. Though, it was a sacred place.
