❛ the north is quite unforgiving, don’t you think ? ❜ not the most subtle of conversation starters, true --- but it’s been long since sansa stark stopped holding her tongue when speaking to others ( too many years being a little bird, it never really got her anything aside from suffering. she knows better now ) / a quick look towards the lords & soldiers preparing for the long night, their icy looks and stares towards the mother of dragons nothing short of judgemental. the north remembers, after all, and they all remember the last targaryens very well --- as well as sansa remembers every horror she’s been through, as well as any animal burnt by the fire. ❛ southerners have trouble getting used to the cold. how are you faring, your grace ? ❜
